Gorgeous, historic homes and hip restaurants, bars and coffee shops. 1 mile away. A stroll down the Riverwalk (head South) or short drive. Our favorite places include: Liberty Bar – Delicious Cocktails and Food (Our personal favorites are the Lime Daiquiri, Moscow Mule, Chiles en Nogales & the Mediterranean Plate with hummus & homemade pita). They have a great happy hour! The Guenther House – For brunch, checkout the Guenther House! It’s a beautiful atmosphere with delicious baked goods since it’s at the Flour Mill. Art Walk – King William Offers incredible Art walk night with artists, musicians, vendors & music. Blue Star Arts Complex is the hub, and it spans out from there. It’s usually on the First Friday and Second Saturday of the Month, but check out their website for dates/times since it may have changed for the pandemic. Cascabel Mexican Patio – Delicious lunch spot! Yum.
