I always make a point of stopping by to visit this spectacular rock pool when visiting Bermagui. The lookout above the pool is a great vantage point to view the migrating whales and other sea life. A jewel of the Sapphire Coast. This attraction is located approximately one hours' drive south of Tuross Head. Love it!

To find this geological wonder (which is 440-510 million years old!!!) make your way to the Narooma Cemetery and park there, not in the car park facing east, but inland. Walk through the cemetery towards a small white fence. You’ll walk around the fence and enter a small area of coastal bushland. There’s a fairly obvious track to follow from this point heading towards the rocks. After a few minutes, you’ll find a trail off to the left down a fairly steep dirt track. Head down the track and once you’re on the sand, follow the coast roughly 1km to reach the Glasshouse Rocks. Along the way, there’ll be other sensational geology to check out, like the pillow lava!

Our local restaurant owned by two passionate Tuross locals, Nick and Diane. The food is sublime and the service is great. Specialising in local produce, the experience is really great. It is a seasonal restaurant, and generally open during the warmer months. The Tern Inn provides takeaway pizzas as well. I love to eat here.

The Queen Chow is the latest restaurant to hit the scene in Narooma at the Whale Inn. Enjoy all the Queen Chow signatures – like barbecued ducks, dim sum and honey king prawns – alongside new dishes inspired by the freshest south coast produce, including Wagonga rock oysters with rice wine mignonette, local sashimi with mandarin ponzu, and local crayfish with XO sauce. Yes, it sounds special, I have never eaten here, however, looking forward to spending some time there soon! Bookings are recommended, however, they do take walk-ins.

Yes, this photo is a seal...not a very good photo, seems that I chopped off its head! But seriously, this is a great spot to visit. There are seals basking in the sun on the break wall at Narooma Bar. Located on Bar Rock Road Narooma.
