Kalama Park is one of our kids' favorite parks! It's right down the street from the condo, has a great playground for kids of all ages, restrooms and picnic tables. It's a great spot for picnics and gatherings. Bonus: it's along the water, so parents have a great view while the kids are playing. Kihei Cafe is right across the street, so our family enjoys picking up breakfast to-go and having a breakfast picnic in the mornings.

Being right next door to Pacific Shores, the Ami Ami is a great and convenient spot for dinner or happy hour. It's not usually too busy, good food and drinks. It's a great family spot since there's a wide variety of food to choose from: burgers, seafood, macaroni and cheese, etc.

Monkeypod is my personal favorite. I'm a creature of habit, so I always order the Macadamia Crusted mahi and Jalapeño masked potatoes- it's perfect every time! Keep in mind Monkeypod does get very busy, so plan accordingly.

If you are up for a morning drive to west Maui, we LOVE The Gazebo. It's a wonderful breakfast spot. The Gazebo does get very busy, so I strongly encourage arrive thirty minutes before opening to get in line early. We usually make a day out of going to West Maui. Bring a swim suit and walking attire, there are great walking paths and beaches close to the Gazebo, or head over to Whalers village for some shopping.
