Car or No Car
If you don’t have a car you can take the train to Rhinebeck from NYC and rent a car from Ruge’s Subaru for $70. They will pick you up at the train station. If you don’t want to drive, you can take the Amtrak to Rensselaer-Albany station and hire a Lyft. The ride is about 40 minutes and $35-$40.
