Great family owned breakfast and lunch place! Their hours can vary so you may want to call ahead before walking over (though it's only a few blocks away so is a quick walk). They don't have a lot of seating but is a great place to get takeout food - highly recommend their fried chicken or fried fish sandwich.

Beautiful building with a ton of great restaurants, bakeries, and specialty shops. Via BART, this is only only stop away from the West Oakland Station (you'll want to get off at Embarcadero station).

Great farmer's market on Sundays that's about a 15 minute walk from the condo. There are typically 10-15 vendors , local produce ( awesome citrus, strawberries, peaches, blueberries, etc), a few bakeries, and food trucks with a variety of foods. We're particularly fond of the vendor that makes fresh hummus - 'Obour'.
