Take the East River Ferry from Greenpoint, North Williamsburg, or down the street from our apartment in South Williamsburg to DUMBO (Down Under Manhattan Bridge Overpass). You'll see gorgeous views of the bridges (Williamsburg, Manhattan, Brooklyn) and of lower Manhattan.

Go for a run across the Williamsburg bridge in the morning. The entrance is on Bedford Ave. between S. 6th and S. 5th. Great to walk across into the Lower East Side if the weather is pleasant! Less crowded than walking across the Brooklyn Bridge.
