Nice walk up the hill to see Edinburgh's famous 'embarrassment' I love it though and thoroughly recommend you going up to see it! Great views from the top too!

I'd really recommend getting a talking tour (with a live bus host) with these guys: City Sightseeing Edinburgh Hop-On Hop-Off Tour. You can catch them at the bottom of the mound.
