Classic, old school Pittsburgh diner in a rougher part of town. The the breakfasts and prices can't be beat! You will also almost NEVER need to wait for a table at Nancy's, because it hasn't really been 'discovered' yet. "Downtown" Wilkinsburg is a bit rough and tumble, so be warned! Plenty of parking.

BYOB! And fabulous, though slightly pricey (for Pittsburgh) Turkish/Meditteranean food. Great atmosphere.

This park is HUGE. There's a large playground on the corner nearest the house, but go back behind it and you will discover many walking/biking trails that take you down into the valley. Bring a phone - its easy to get lost in here!
