Omakase Sushi. Not cheap, but the best you will have, hands down. This is not a amateurs sushi restaurant, if you LOVE sushi, authentic sushi, this is the place. Pair with Wine, the head sushi chef Dicekay, or Shogo are great (spelling :-/ )

This is the best Thai Food restaurant I've ever been to. They deliver (last deliveries at 9:40). Open 7 days a week and just awesome. If you want delivery use my phone number (from the guide) so they know where to deliver. This place is the BEST! I eat her twice a week.

Cruisers is a great spot to grab a beer and watch a game. It's a gastropub, but not upscale, mainly Pizza and things like that. I don't go there often but when friends want to watch a UFC fight or see a hockey game this is the place.

The only place in Newport Beach to have breakfast on the sand. Great breakfast and lunch spot. Its beach food, so you will need to surf some to burn it off, but you need to eat there and enjoy the amazing experience. One note, the coffee is no good, so I say have coffee at the house then walk over.

Its beach food, so you will need to surf some to burn it off, but you need to eat there and enjoy the amazing experience. Local Favorite, tourists don't generally go there but its a gem, only for coffee, breakfast, and lunch. The owners are great people.

This place is the legend of Newport Beach. During the summer expect to wait a half hour. They only serve fish and they have a sushi bar, but it is small. I eat here 1-2 times a week. If you have never tried Poke, its a raw fish cooked (soaked, not actually cooked) in soy sauce and other species, its a newport beach specialty.

Ok, if you eat frozen yogurt, then you must eat at Go Greek. Their frozen yogurt is impossibly good. If its not the best frozen yogurt you have ever had then you might be crazy. They have 3 locations, Newport Beach, Beverly Hills, and Greece (somewhere).
Expensive, but worth every penny.

Hope of the legendary original Bear Flag, this restaurant is owned by the same owners as Bear Flag (the most loved restaurant in Newport Beach). The location has such a great feel to it and during the summer its so much fun. I wish Bear Flag never moved to its new location, but wild taco is a nice addition and their tacos are fresh made (including the tortillas). Its a great place.

Coffee shop and restaurant. Its nothing special, but it's where I go when my parents visit and we want a little breakfast in the morning. They are very cool people and its one of those local hidden gems in Newport Beach. Don't tell everyone about it please.

On the marina, this place is really great. I've only eaten small bites here, but I like the bar upstairs and the view of the marina is great.

Mexican Food. So there are 2 types of Mexican food in California, gringo mexican food (not for Mexicans) and then authentic mexican food. Somehow this place falls in the middle, but is just excellent. I grew up in a city with a large Mexican population, and they would like this place just as much as any mexican food you can get anywhere. It's cleaned up a little bit, so the meat is less fatty and the salsa is not as spicy, but its great. There is another mexican food place in Newport beach, but this is where you should be eating.

The market right across the street from the house, its a great liquor store for essentials. Not a full market, but it gets the job done for those little missing things. Also their cooler is very cold, I don't even stock Beer at home, I just get it from there. They are open until 9.

True local Italian marketplace. They serve sandwiches too. I wish it was a little closer like Fry's is, but if you feel like walking to get fresh bread or an apple, or some olive oil, this is the place. Its my favorite new edition to the neighborhood and I hope you support them!

Shop here, maybe don't buy, but at least shop. Its outdoors and just beautiful. All the nice places are here. They have a Tesla store and an Apple store. Its a nice place to spend a day.

Welcome to the best spring break bar in Newport Beach. Its packed any time, any day. Younger crowd, but so much fun. For anyone who has been to Cabo or Cancun, it reminds me of a Senior Frogs or something like that. You will be taken aback that this place is in Newport Beach, but its so much fun. I prefer to go there during the day and to get a beer when I am at the beach, night's are crazy.
