This is our GO TO spot for any occasion. They have the best wings and tochos EVER and this location has an old school arcade section as well as a $3 movie theater !! They have a massive selection of craft beers and this place is super fun for kids of all ages. Their grilled cheese is phenomenal too btw. There is also a downtown location on Coxe ave which has a great outdoor seating area and walking distance to downtown events if you want to be part of the city ambiance.

Double Decker red bus turned into a stationary coffee/dessert shop! It's SO fun to go into this tiny bus, sit and enjoy a sweet treat !! My kids love it.

This is the closest food source to us and they happen to be really good! It's a drive through only place with very affordable and yummy BBQ style foods. I'm not saying it's top notch going to blow your socks off or anything but it's nearby and doesn't make you feel like you ate fast food.

Above Bouchon is a place called LeCluse which is a very small and classy bar. It is also a part of bouchon but not a full on restaurant.This spot is more like a cute cocktail bar which also serves small plates of things like breads, cheese and crackers etc. There is comfy living room style seating as well as casual outdoor seating. LeCluse opens Mon-Sat @ 4pm.

Asheville doesn't have many options for nightclubs but this is the one that we go to. It's not the best quality ever but it's a fun place to drink and dance. It's $2 to become a 'member' to get in and there's no dress code I'm aware of.

The River Arts District is where not only do you browse and shop for local art but in their very studios! You often times get to see the artist at work and chat with them. There is a glass blowing shop and across from that is my favorite pottery shop where they take lace and press it into the clay and make these stunning lace pottery dinnerwares.
The studios can be a little spread out, there will be a building here and then a building there but they are all in the same general area if you are willing to walk around a bit.

This place is super cool and unique. They sell stones, crystals and fossils which is just really cool to me. It's fun to go in there and ooh and awe at the geodes. I sort of get nervous bringing my young kids there that they will knock something over but they really enjoy going and picking out a stone or crystal and learning about their 'magic powers' lol

This is one of my favorite shops in Asheville which is right in the heart of downtown. It's near all the other cool shops and restaurants and is a great place to poke your head into. They have all kinds of Eastern style things there like incense, buddha statues, crystals and some hippie type asheville clothing.

This very popular style game right now is where you are locked in a themed room ad have to work together to solve puzzles to escape the room. You have an hour to escape and it's super fun. $25/per person
