A lively dinner and night spot, a real cult find, with live jazz on weekends. Very good food and easy place to meet locals. The chef is on the faculty at the Culinary Institute of America.

Sightseeing
The Rensselaerville Falls, just above the village, cascades down from Lake Myosotis over layers of natural stone. In the 19th century the Falls was the power supply for the Huyck Woolen Mill, whose foundations are still visible on the beautifully groomed Falls Trail.

This is a local nature preserve and scientific research center with miles of hiking trails, open dawn til dusk year round for public use. Hikers have access to over 2000 acres of forest, field, and wetlands, including the Rensselaerville Falls, which cascade over 120 feet. Lake Myosotis is open to the public for kayaking and canoeing as well as fishing (year round).

Coffee, sodas and snacks available. Rentals of sports equipment like binoculars or fishing poles.
