The Dinky Diner is the only restaurant in town. It has great food and good prices. They open at 7am and their closing hours differ (anywhere between 3:30pm and 6pm. You will need to call them to find out their closing time each day.

Goldfield is the county seat for Esmeralda County. The Courthouse was built in 1905 and has been open since then. Stroll through and feel as though you have stepped back in time. It has many original furnishings and the documents housed there have been there since the town became a town.

Diamondfield Gulch was a town of about 500 when Goldfield was booming. All the original buildings are gone and it is now privately owned. Located 5 miles east of Goldfield the owner has built a little town that is a must see. You can make an appointment to see Diamondfield Gulch by contacting Jeri and 775-485-3783.

Parks & Nature

The Goldfield Park has a nice grassy area for picnics, lawn games and has a nice playground with a real merry-go-round and great slides just like the good ole days. This is a good place to take the little ones and just let them play. It has a fence all around it so little ones can't stray.
