Quiet La Garita Cabin | Trails, Stars & Wood Stove

This 1000sq ft cabin in the country with a very rural setting. It is quiet and relaxing, has a wood stove and is close to outdoor activities. Penitent Canyon, La Garita, hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, 4wheeling, ATV trails, snowmobiling, skiing (Wolf Creek is 50 min drive). It has a canal running by in the summer. We offer a Self-serve breakfast with home-made yogurt, home-made granola, home-made bread for toast, local grown organic eggs, (hot coffee, chocolate, tea) on request.

The Crestone Casitas are beautifully decorated private luxury suites; each featuring a full bathroom with bathtub and shower, full kitchen with dining area, small living area with a fireplace, couch and coffee table. This suite features two separate entrances into the suite, one with easy access to parking, and the other a sliding glass door opening into a private patio overlooking the beautiful gardens. Wireless internet, coffee and tea are complimentary for our guests.

Get away from it all at our cottage - Retreat at Round Hill. You will have access to miles of hiking, biking & ATV trails. We own 36 acres, including Round Hill, with amazing mountain views all around. We are backed up to National Forest and BLM land. We're located two miles south of Poncha Pass Summit. Only 15-20 minutes to downtown Salida and 30 minutes to Monarch Mountain Ski Area. We have a fire pit and propane grill outside the entryway.

The Green Room

The Green Room is the first completed unit in the Historic Saguache Hotel (1910). Spacious 1BR 1 BA open-floorplan offers a glimpse into the hotel restoration and the emphasis on sustainability, music and art! Well-behaved, non-barking house-trained dogs are allowed with a $20 pet fee. Queen bed A twin floor mattress can be made available upon request with advance notice.
