Cherish time with loved ones. Hike along the creek, woodlands and fields. Enjoy the plentiful birds and wildlife. Bring your bike in the summer, and snow shoes in the winter. Get away from it all! This charming little home is perfectly located on a dead-end street, a short drive to either Menomonie or Eau Claire. Upon arriving, you will feel a sense of calmness and seclusion. Relax to the sounds of the falls and the birds singing. Wander the gardens and play in the spring fed lake. Read a book in the hammock or simply stare at the reflection on the calm lake. We offer a canoe, rowboat, 2 kayaks, and S.U.P for exploring as well as a grill and fire pit area.

Milkhouse Cottage was rebuilt from the original Milkhouse built on our farm in 1906. Nestled in a peaceful valley across the road from the Rush River. Amenities include one queen bed, 1 queen sized comfortable queen sofa bed, air conditioning, private deck, private fire pit & 38 acres of private hiking trails and snowshowing trails. For larger groups we have another cottage on airbnb called the Trout Haus. Check on Airbnb or contact us regarding renting both houses.

The "Gatekeeper" cottage has a natural gas stone fireplace in the living room, Full size sofa sleeper, full kitchen, full bath on the main floor and a half bath in the sleeping loft. (Need to be able to climb ladder stairs to lofted bedroom). A spiral staircase leads you down to the lower level which has an additional bedroom, queen sofa sleeper in the extra living room space, and full bathroom. The lower level also has a walk out french door to the patio area.

And, every season brings it’s own beauty!

3 bedroom (2 king, 1 queen), 2 bath house located on South Center Lake. Soak in the beautiful view from the HOT TUB and private balconies. Enjoy your summer on the lake or cozy up for a night in with the heated floors during the winter months. Snacks and a coffee, fresh ground from our local roaster (Dark or light roast - your choice!) Onsite laundry/gas grill/full kitchen/yard games/paddle boat/canoe Entrance on lower level is wheelchair accessible.
