Close enough to walk everywhere but slightly nestled into a historic neighborhood that gets away from the craziness. It is the best of both worlds. The train is a 5 minute walk but far enough to not hear it. North Salem has a few coffeeshops and breakfast joints a stone throw away. And, oh yeah, the apartment is awesome! We recently renovated our first floor which has a private bedroom & ensuite bathroom, spacious living room and private entrance and parking. The overall feeling is spare and peaceful with lots of natural light. We live in a fantastic neighborhood in Salem, two blocks from the Salem Common. We walk everywhere-- to the ocean, Peabody Essex Museum, Cinema Salem and many cafés, bars and restaurants. Happy to share our favorites. 5 minute walk to the Boston ferry and 10 min to the train.
