A 35-minute drive to Monarch Ski Area, and a mere 15 minutes away from downtown Salida.

Relaxing Farm stay!

Fully equipped apartment on the farm-stocked kitchen, relaxing deck/BBQ and a California king bed with heated mattress pad and down comforter, fireplace and large soaking tub in the master bath. This is a romantic, memorable place. We provide farm fresh eggs and the usual coffee/tea/hot chocolate/creamer. If it isn't in the apartment just ask us! You will be able to visit alpacas, llamas and watch the free range guinea hens. Can be adjoining to the 2 bedroom apartment adjacent. Pet friendly.

We designed the Rock Room with 6 floor to ceiling windows and an automatic garage door that opens up to a rock wall and your private covered balcony which overlooks national forest on both sides. Built in 2014 on 20-acres with a private drive, 900' of riverfront with a trail, superb privacy with great views, only 3.5-miles from downtown Salida and 18-miles from Monarch. With a big garden and chickens (fresh veggies and eggs in season!), we're frequented by visits from deer, great-horned owls, red-tailed hawks, and sometimes wild turkeys and elk!

Built-in 2015, it's featured in the "Small House Book" by Lloyd Kahn. It's clean and modern yet warm and cozy. One bedroom has a queen bed and the 2nd bedroom has two twin beds (AC in bedrooms). The main living space has a garage door that opens to the back patio. It's a hop, skip, and a jump from all you need, from biking and hiking trails, restaurants, shops, the playground, the amphitheater, and the river. Our short-term rental license number for the city of Salida is 0511.

Get away from it all at our cottage - Retreat at Round Hill. You will have access to miles of hiking, biking & ATV trails. We own 36 acres, including Round Hill, with amazing mountain views all around. We are backed up to National Forest and BLM land. We're located two miles south of Poncha Pass Summit. Only 15-20 minutes to downtown Salida and 30 minutes to Monarch Mountain Ski Area. We have a fire pit and propane grill outside the entryway.

The location offers easy access to local skiing, hiking, biking, rafting and kayaking in the Arkansas Valley. We do allow dogs. It is a $100 non-refundable pet deposit for UP TO 2 dogs. Our restored 1800's mining cabins is nestled in the mountains, bordering Cottonwood Creek. Our one-of-a-kind cabin offers a handcrafted odorless hot springs hot tub with an ever-flowing infinity edge and mood setting led lighting. Your private hot springs is located right off your deck. We do not have Wi-Fi, so come expecting to unplug. We have a landline if you need to communicate with anyone.

This is a newer, pet friendly home with a fenced yard, located in a quiet neighborhood. We have a four person hot tub (must be at least 6 years old), fiber internet, and minutes away LaGree's market/hardware store, Poncha Pub, and Elevation brewery. We are four miles from Salida, twenty miles to Monarch ski area, Mount Princeton Hot Springs, and Brown's Canyon white water rafting!
