As escadarias ocultas de São Francisco
Please note: this walk is not at all strenuous. Obviously there's some stairs but this is done at a leisurely pace and suitable for almost everyone. Great for families, friends and ideal for groups, company off-sites and team-building. This breathtaking 2 mile walking tour of San Francisco's hidden stairways is the #1 rated Airbnb Experience in the Bay Area, loved by both locals and tourists alike. See gorgeous mosaic tiled steps and hear the stories behind them, then take in stunning 360° views of the Golden Gate Bridge, Golden Gate Park and downtown San Francisco. You'll also discover beautiful neighborhoods and gardens that many locals are not aware of and that tourists rarely see. Oh, and you might even go home with a succulent! I'll provide commentary, context and some history along the way. By booking this tour you are helping preserve and maintain these gorgeous stairs as I make annual donations to both projects. Generally SF is dry May-October. There can be fog in the summertime, mostly in the morning. Temps rarely above 70F (21C) or below 50F (10C). Rain may cancel. We will start with some of the interesting history of the studio space. Then I will get you situated on the wheel and show you how to properly secure your lump of clay. After the clay is secured we start the wheel spinning nice and fast. I will show you how to center the clay which is a very important (and frustrating) stage of making pottery on the wheel. After we successfully center the clay, you will explore how the clay moves and reacts to your touch. We will work to form a simple shape such as a bowl or cup. To finish off we will do some clean up of the form and remove the piece from the wheel in order to start experimenting with the next piece. You can expect to get to practice with around 6 lumps of clay (more if you are ambitious) and most people will create 2-3 pieces by the end of the session. Pieces will be professionally finished, fired, and glazed after the experience. This process takes at least 3 weeks. After the pieces are finished you can pickup in the studio or they can be shipped. Shipping costs are paid by the guest. Other things to note Come wearing clothes that you don't mind getting messy. We will provide aprons. If you have long hair plan to have a hair tie or a way to secure your hair back. Trim long nails if you are able.

PLEASE NOTE: this is NOT a regular walking tour. It’s an edgy, outrageous, uniquely-San Franciscan experience. Have a few laughs with storyteller-extraordinaire Clyde Always, the Bard of Bay City, former headliner at these local venues: the Marsh Theater, the Lost Church and Café International on Haight. You’ll be dazzled by many of Clyde’s own modern MYTHS, LEGENDS, FABLES and FAIRYTALES. They feature witches & pirates, hobos & hipster-devils... Make sure you bring your imagination. In between these zany stories, your host will be pointing out various dives, murals, coffeehouses, landmarks, shops and stunning Victorians—no shortage of Instagramable photo-ops, here. Miles away from the rest of the tourists, you’ll get some insider knowledge of three of the City’s hippest neighborhoods—the Mission, the Castro and the Haight. Looking for fun things to do and delicious things to eat? Clyde’s got the hot tips. BE WARNED! Your host is a fast-talker and he may tell you a few phony “facts.” Take anything he says with a grain of salt. If you’re offended by profanity, soap will be provided (but bring your own water). Scared of heights? Rest easy—the route involves no hill climbing! This stroll is guaranteed to entertain, enliven and uplift both visitors and locals alike. **Please, for PRIVATE GROUPS, DM to check availability before booking. **
Silent Disco: yoga na praia
Gather with us at iconic Baker Beach! An exquisite beach right in the city with a view of the bridge. Enjoy an all-levels yoga practice while wearing headphones and listening to a remix of zen beats. It's not a "silent disco" but we use these style headphones to play music and have clear crisp instruction, while you take up space on the beach. You can still hear the waves crashing through them :) It's more than a 'class'- its a yoga experience. Watching the waves, moving mindfully in nature, and practicing with locals and guests from around the world. We host classes all year long, as our winters here are mild and being on the beach is always SO beautiful! We so look forward to hosting you for this magical experience. Bring water, a sweatshirt and friends. Or come solo! We supply yoga towels and headphones. Exact meeting location is sent to you upon registration.
Amor em forma de filhotes em uma fazenda
Meet the animals at La Candelaria Ranch in Petaluma! I'd like to share them with people interested in learning about them, interacting with them and showing them love. The 1-hour interactive tour begins with visiting the goats, horses, cows, llamas, and chickens. We'll be walking. You'll also get to meet Jack the mini donkey. I will show you around for 1 hour then you are free to explore for another hour or longer if you'd like. Wear mud boots during the winter. Kids and "adult kids" are welcome. Walking around the ranch, you can connect with a tiny jersey calf named Tati, newborn goats, baby chicks, a mini donkey, and Scottish highland calves. You can see and photograph full size horses, cows, llamas, alpacas, peacocks, and emus. This experience is a great outdoor venue for family get-togethers, kids birthday parties, adult celebrations, off-sites, anniversaries or just to get out of the city for the day. Because we are outdoors and there is a lot of space, we believe this is the perfect venue for all with respect to our ever-changing COVID concerns. Bring a picnic or snacks if you want to stay and hang out.
Goat Walk on The Beach
We are hosting a goat walk on the beach with two or more goats in our herd for individuals and groups. A few hours before our meeting time we prepare and transport our trained goats from our herd all the way down to the beach from our sanctuary to walk alongside you for a unique, once in a lifetime experience. Our goats are very special goats nurtured from birth by Billie and her interns to develop a strong trusting relationship with people. Our goats love people and are very interested in getting to know the people they meet. We will meet at the trail head that leads to a very magical and less frequented beach location. When we meet at the trail head location we will talk for about 10 minutes with tips on goat safety. We will also talk about goat companionship, interspecies communication, and the history of humans and goats plus lots more while we walk the trail to the beach guiding the goats along side us stopping to munch a bit. The path to the beach includes a beautiful forested landscape and a few flights of stairs so be prepared to walk some stairs. The walk down to the beach takes about 15 minutes. We will spend about 40 minutes on the beach with the goats. This walk may be canceled if there are less than 4 guests booked. So invite friends! Children are welcome to attend with adult supervision. The whole experience will last no longer than 90 minutes.

Other things to note: Every week (Fridays & Saturdays) we feature new bands and it's a secret, so you won't know who is performing in advance. This makes each concert unique and fresh. All things Jazz, from 1920's Swing to Latin Jazz, Funk, Fusion, Hip Hop and original compositions. This concert series is produced by Mellow Sessions.
