Eingebettet zwischen Bergen und Wäldern, in 545 m Höhe, liegt Gura Raului idyllisch am Oberlauf des Cibin mit seinem imposanten Staudamm 73,5 m h. Das Dorf ist 20 km von Sibiu, dem kulturellen und wirtschaftlichen Zentrum der Region mit einer äußerst sehenswerten historischen Altstadt, gelegen. Casa Florica, im Herzen des Dorfes gelegen, ist ein über 120 Jahre altes Holzhaus, das zw. 2011-2017 restauriert/ renoviert wurde. Die Räume sind renoviert und traditionell und authentisch eingerichtet.

Is hard to explain a Rainbow ,you need to see one to understand how beautiful the colors are. My home is one of the colors of that rainbow. Is a country side where we all live and respect nature.

Vila Serbota is located in a touristic area just 3 km far from Castelul de Lut (Clay Castle) at the bottom of the Fagaras mountains and proximity to the Transfagarasan-highway, only 35 km next to Sibiu and the airport. This village preserved almost entirely the atmosphere of old times, and it is also known as departure point to the Negoiu chalet. An idyllic creek crosses the garden. The location is ideal for 4-6 persons who want to enjoy a peaceful stay in a gated, secluded environment.

The apartment is part of a traditional transylanian farmhouse, with a private entryway. The rooms are freshly restored and offer a cozy and calm ambiance. Breakfast is included and consists of delicious, organic and local ingredients, most of them actually being produced on the farm, that you are welcome to visit. Farm to table dinner is available as well, upon request beforehand (at least two days before arrival). We make equisite cheese, butter, charcuterie and other delicious treats.

Only 46 Km from gorgeous medieval city Sibiu (Hermannstadt). Sibiu has an international airport with direct flights from London, Munich, Vienna and other European cities.

Once upon a time, nestled in the heart of a picturesque countryside in Transylvania, there stood a charming family country house available for rental, making it the perfect escape from the bustling city life. With 3 spacious bedrooms, cozy atmosphere, and sprawling gardens, it was the perfect destination for a memorable family getaway. The house was known for its warm and inviting ambiance, offering a haven of tranquility and beauty for families to create lasting memories.

The cottage is located in an Edenic area, with unique landscapes that offer guests the opportunity to experience the peace and quiet of the Făgăraș Mountains. It is fully equipped, with hosting capacity of maximum 12-16 people. Apart from 5 bedrooms, spacious living room with specially designed dining area, kitchen and 3 bathrooms, guests can enjoy spending time on the terrace, near the lake or organize a barbecue. The host provides free WI-FI access.

Beautifully located in Fagaras county, in Ucea the Jos village, at the foot of the highest mountains in Romania, Casa Bunicilor is an old transilvanian house, brought to life to offer to its guest the perfect place for a relaxing getaway in the heart of Transilvania. A lot of heart was put to make it cosy and comfortable, while at the same time keeping some traditional old elements to remind me of my grandparents and of my childhood.

Linistea Muntilor Chalet - Two-Bedroom Chalet

This is our first chalet, built in 2021. It has a Swedish inspired architecture, with modern finishing and very bright interiors. The front terrace has an astounding overview of the entire Fagaras Moutains ridge and just in front of the terrace, 5m away, there is the lake. Inside there are two bedrooms, each with a queen bed. Outside the bedrooms there is a open-space kitchen and dining area with view towards the moat and the lake.

Transylvanian Cottage near Sibiu (free bikes)

The guesthouse is located in the middle of Transylvania, in Porumbacu de Sus, on the road leading to Negoiu mountain peak, between Sibiu and Transfagarasan. The village is an authentic Transylvanian village, a great starting point for travelling around the area: medieval town Sibiu, Balea lake, saxon villages, fortresses & other sites. Perfect for hiking & biking in the deep forests of the Carpathians.
