Short drive to Anacortes for shops, dining, art galleries or ferry to Guemes Island. A 1.5 hour drive from Seattle or Vancouver BC…no ferry!!

A 5-minute ferry ride will bring you to our whimsical west-beach cottage & property on Guemes Island with its panoramic views and magical sunsets...perfect for relaxing, taking beach walks, finding treasures, hiking our mountain & local trails, exploring your favorite water sports, and spotting herons, seals, bald eagles, & occasionally whales & more.

Samish Island Suite on the Beach

Waterfront home Guest Wing with separate entrance, full bath, and bedroom with Queen Size Murphy Bed which folds away during the day. You can prepare light meals and the town of Edison, 6 miles away, has great dining options. Bring bikes, kayaks and cameras for exploring. Our large yard & deck with firepit, heater &barbecue will be safely shared. You will hear noise from the main house during non quiet hours and I will be doing various chores and coming and going through the yard.

Enjoy the serenity and wildlife, fish right from the yard and have a bonfire with the convenience of (very good) wifi and other modern amenities. You get the whole place, minus the garage. There is a nice two-person hot tub on the lower deck and yes it works, it is awesome!
