South Bend, 1 Bedroom Cottage Built in 1912

South Bend historic cottage in the National Historic District of Chapin Park. Close to Notre Dame. One dog is welcome. No cats. There is a queen sized bed and a sofa, NOT sofa bed in the sitting room. This cottage built in 1912. Private and cozy, the cottage has a big screen TV, wifi and a gourmet kitchen. The owner lives almost directly behind and is available and happy to assist. Chapin Park's tree-lined, brick streets and diverse historic architecture are charming. No smoking.

Stay in our studio apartment suite with private exterior door entrance. Hosts live in the rest of the house. From the backyard you can fish, kayak/canoe, paddle board, enjoy a bonfire, grill, and relax by the river. There's a king memory foam bed, sleeper sofa, and 49" TV. Remote work friendly with spacious workspace desk, fast WIFI, and coffee. The closet has a mini food prep area with mini fridge and microwave, and grill out on back patio. This little cabin sits on the creek side with a deck overlooking the creek. You will have a woods on one side, and farm animals on the other. It is as peaceful as it gets. Enjoy the feeling and atmosphere of camping with a crackling fire in the fire pit, enjoy a s'more or 2, & a cozy queen bed to sleep in at night. It has a loft that can fit an older child or preteen to sleep. If you love camping and farm animals this is the place for you. It’s the peace you have been looking for!

Our turn of the century farmhouse is situated in the country on over three acres. Enjoy a large kitchen, dining room and large family room along with three bedrooms (upstairs) and two full baths (1 up and 1 down). The rural atmosphere is perfect for walks or evening fires (we have a fire ring, lawn chairs, and some wood). Enjoy the night sky with a view of the stars and constellations. We have a lovely, safe, rural community with friends and fields as neighbors. No parties allowed.

My place is close to 80/90 Toll -road exit 83-Mishawaka IN. Visit us for events at :Notre Dame/St. Mary's/Bethel college/Holy Cross College. Mileage to ND Campus is 11.4. 15 Minutes to Elkhart Aquatic Center. Approx 20 Min to Four Winds Casino (Via the 20 Bi-pass) This Spring 2021 The Silk was chosen by AIRBNB as the 2d best place to stay in the greater South Bend-Mishawaka area. I close in January and February but re-open in March.

Country setting. Apartment above our garage. Attached to our house. No Smoking. No Pets. No Parties. No shared space but with the shared wall, you will here sounds from our space including garage door, voices, kitchen noise, dogs may bark, etc. we try to keep noise levels down but we live here and you may hear us. WiFi in this location is sometimes spotty.
