Perfect for a couples or single stay away. Cambridge is a 30 minute drive, and London by direct train in less than an hour, so perfect if you want to visit either - or both - of these cities in a weekend.

The M11 is just over a mile away and Addenbrookes, AstraZeneca, Granta Park, Babraham Institute and Wellcome Genome Campus are all a short distance by car.

The village of Pavenham is situated just 6 miles north of Bedford. Surrounded by the beautiful setting of the River Ouse, the village has a magnificent golf club and a pub right in the centre. Just 100 metres from the Old George and Dragon, the COCK does not provide food at the moment, but a great atmosphere. However, 5 minutes drive away is the SUN at Felmersham which does good food. Several places in Bedford deliver takeaways. Ideal for walkers on the John Bunyan Trail.
