Unwind in our hand-built cottage with lake views, just 10 minutes from Buffalo & 20 from Sheridan. Set on 35 scenic acres with a micro dairy, chickens, and Buddy the blueberry-loving peacock, this cozy retreat offers fresh milk & eggs with your stay. The 700 sq ft space features a king bedroom and a pullout bed in the great room, plus a private patio with BBQ. We’re near the interstate, easy access, though some road noise is possible. The cottage is all yours, we live nearby if you need anything

Creekside Cabin at Story Brooke Lodge

Come relax at a cozy cabin along Piney Creek with a large wrap around porch. Open your windows to listen to the water running by all night with fresh cool air (no A/C sorry). The cabin features a queen size bed and a pull out couch. Kitchenette includes a sink, Keurig, toaster oven, microwave, hot plate, and mini fridge. The cabin features a gas fireplace, a covered porch with skylights and also has a glass dining table with four chairs. This cabin has cable TV that is also a smart TV and wifi.

The Magpie Cabin · Big Horn Views & Ranch Stay

Located just 13 miles from Sheridan right off a paved highway, the Magpie Cabin is a cozy, modern getaway on a horse ranch. Enjoy breathtaking sunsets and the authentic feel of ranch life. The cabin includes all of the modern amenities needed to make your stay comfortable (minus a dishwasher). Step onto the porch to possibly see wildlife and horses graze nearby; you might even spot a cowboy training horses right outside! It's the perfect location to stay while you visit the Sheridan area!

This spacious 1,760 sq ft suite is newly renovated and stocked with our favorite comforts. Enjoy a private entrance, a fully fenced backyard, the babble of a nearby creek and ample parking for vehicles, trailers, RVs, and boats. The suite is 2 minutes from the Equestrian Center. The Story Place Peaceful Big Horn Mountain Retreat

Escape to the forest of the Big Horns in our 2 Bed 1 Full Bath/2 Half Bath vacation home in between Buffalo and Sheridan in the sleepyl town of Story. This tri-level unit has plenty of parking, a full kitchen, is fully furnished, and has plenty of space to relax. The entire upstairs and all bathrooms have been rennovated. Story is a town of 900 people, so there is one store open daily and two restaurant/bars. This is the place to stay if you are wanting a peaceful getaway.

Hideout Cabin

Nestled in the foothills of the Bighorns, the Hideout Cabin offers a cozy retreat with a queen bed, fireplace, and kitchenette stocked with basics, a mini-fridge, and coffee. The bathroom has a shower tub, sink, and towels. Relax on the porch swing overlooking the creek. A firewood box with a day's supply is included. Walk to scenic trails, fishing, horseback riding, and the Wagon Box Restaurant. Downtown Story is nearby, with Sheridan and Buffalo just 25 minutes away.

The Pine Cottage

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. You will feel right at home in this cozy cottage. Open floor plan gives the feeling of a much bigger space . Perfect for a comfortable stay after a long days travel or just get away to the mountains for a day or two. Close to library , Post Office, and Story Store. Large Ponderosa pines provide ample shade and ambience. Deer and turkey stroll through the property frequently..Enjoy all that Story has to offer!

Charming Cabin for Two Nestled Along Piney Creek

Come stay in gorgeous Story, Wyoming. This little cabin for two is at the end of a private lane. The property is shared with a larger, private family cabin. The guest cabin is perfect for those who love the outdoors. Nearby activities include fishing, hiking, horseback riding, four-wheeling, golf and sightseeing. Located in the Bighorn Mountains between Sheridan and Buffalo, where there is access to dining, shopping and year-round local activities and events.

Cabin W/ Optional Bunkhouse in Story, WY

Open concept kitchen, dining and living room make this cabin a great entertaining space. Main bedroom includes a king size log bed, six drawer dresser and 55 inch screen tv. Second bedroom includes a queen size log bunk bed and armoire. You will find a queen pull out in the sofa located in the Living. Also in the living room is a 65 inch smart tv and two recliners. Need extra space? An optional bunkhouse can be added for $500.

Big Horn Getaway

The bedroom is in the loft above a working ceramics studio. The bathroom is on the main floor with one flight of stairs. We are located about two miles from the base of the Bighorn Mountains with a beautiful view and lots of privacy. It is a perfect getaway for two people who can handle the stairs. The space is not suitable for children under 18 or pets. We are unable to accommodate service dogs due to host's allergies.
