Our Cottage is located in the picturesque Village of Harley, at the foot of the Wenlock Edge. The property is less than 5 minutes drive to Much Wenlock and close to Ironbridge, Bridgnorth, Shrewsbury, Ludlow & Church Stretton -ideally placed for seeing the best bits of Shropshire. We are near to many great walks, National Trust/English Heritage locations and foodie highlights. We have lived in the County for 50+ years and are on hand to help and provide advice on where to visit & eat locally.

The Walkers Rest Gated onto National Trust Forest

The walkers rest is a self contained 1 bedroom annexe attached to our family home. With it's own private entrance, garden and hot tub. There is direct access to The National Trust Wenlock Edge Forest, with breath taking views, miles of walking trails, bridle paths and cycle routes. Much Wenlock is a 2 min drive or a short walk through the forest to quaint shops and pubs. Shrewsbury, Iron bridge, Ludlow, Buildwas Abbey, Church Stretton, The Wrekin are some of the places within a short drive.

Located 3 miles east of Church Stretton and a 35 minute walk to the popular Royal Oak pub in Cardington, a favourite haunt of the locals.

We are also a short drive from the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site. It's in a beautiful rural location yet close to independent shops, traditional pubs and restaurants. Its clean, modern and well equipped. The studio is ideal for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.

The Summerhouse sits 250m from Offa's Dyke Path with access to miles of walks, ideal for anyone wanting to explore Shropshire and mid-Wales. It is a charming Grade 2 listed building, with commanding views of the Severn Valley to Montgomery. Black Sheep Barn is a luxurious two bedroom converted barn situated near Ludlow in a remote, undiscovered pocket of the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Explore miles of hill, wild heath and forest and then sit by the fire or perhaps on the terrace and enjoy fifty mile views to the Welsh border. It’s a good place to get away from it all as it’s a half mile up a steep track from the nearest road. We think it is a special place and we hope you will think so too.

Enchmarsh Farm barn

Small barn in the midst of a working Dairy and sheep farm right next to our home with fabulous walks all around. Double bed with small shower room and mini kitchen area in the corner of the room. Ideal as walking base or base when working in the area. Good parking just outside the barn - vehicles can be left whilst you walk the glorious hills around. Cooked breakfast available in the dining room in the farmhouse for £10 per person - includes the choice of sausage, bacon, eggs etc.

Severn Hall Ewe Pod

We are located in beautiful Shropshire countryside on a working farm (sheep, cattle and horses) with stunning valley view. Ewe Pod is only 2 miles away from the historic Bridgnorth, home to the Severn Valley Steam Railway. Farm has riverside walks and pas the Ewe Pod is the route 45 cycle track which takes you straight to the historic Iron Bridge and many museums just 7 miles away. We are 2 min away from Bridgnorth golf course and Boldings Corse fishing pools.

The Grooms Lodgings, Pitchford

A lovely, comfortable modern apartment within Lower Farm House set in a tranquil rural location just 5 miles from Shrewsbury, and yet only a short distance from Church Stretton, Ironbridge and Much Wenlock, all of which are only approximately 20 minutes away. The apartment is fully equipped so is a true home from home with a little extra. An ideal location of visiting family at Concord College. Please note we do not accept third party bookings.
