Charming Cottage in the Mountains

Venture into the Kouga-Baviaans Wilderness area to the comfortable Waboom Cottage on the beautiful farm Mooigedacht. The 36 km stretch of scenic gravel road is part of your holiday. Once here relax, do nothing, hike, cycle or picknick while spending quality time with family or friends. The well equipped cottage has electric blankets, gas heater and indoor fireplace/braai. A supply of wood and more to buy. The displayed minimum price apply to 2,3 or 4 guests. An additional fee p/p after that.

You can meander into the Yellowwood forest; keen birders can seek the Narina Trogen or Crowned eagle - or any of the 153 listed bird species, hikers can adventure any of 4 hiking trails, cavers can visit the well known Bats Cave, and the stressed can visit the Buzz Box, or you can just relax in total peace.

Ironstone Cottage

Fully self catering, 2 bedroom farm cottage, 1 double bed, 1 king bed/twin, each with en suite bathroom. Plunge pool, firepit, Wifi, aircon, indoor fireplace, barbecue. Linen & towels provided. 4x4 or high clearance strongly advised PLEASE NOTE THAT THE AIRCONS ARE PROVIDED FOR COOLING THE HOUSES IN THE HOT SUMMER MONTHS BETWEEN OCTOBER AND APRIL, NOT FOR HEATING AS THE FARM IS ON SOLAR. Electric blankets, blankets, duvets, hot water bottles are provided and each house has a fireplace.

The quaint, thatched cottage, perched on a high ridge in the Kaba Game Farm, commands a uniquely spectacular view over rolling grasslands, coastal forest, the vast Alexandria dune field and the ocean beyond.
