Apartment inside a stable

Spacious (89 m2) apartment located inside a horse stable of 36 horses. There is a lot of horses on the property, Hólaborg is a breeding farm. We have our own lake at the property, we really recommend you to take a walk down there to observe the horses and the unique bird life. The farm is located 73 km from Reykjavík, our location is perfect for exploring the south of Iceland and the Golden Circle as well as spotting the northern lights. The beautiful light house &the beach is only 1 km away.

The apartment is in the middle of Selfoss, close to the swimming pool, gym, shops, restaurants and the Old Dairy Selfoss. Here you can relax and enjoy some rest during your vacation. It’s a great stopover on your way to or from Keflavik airport if you’re sightseeing the south coast of Iceland. Sólvangur Icelandic Horse Center - Flaumur 1

Beautiful nice little house (the one to the right) for 2-4 people, with 2 single beds (or double bed) and 1 sofa bed (for 1-2 persons). The house has a kitchenette and bathroom. Sólvangur is a horse-breeding farm in the South Coast of Iceland. You will have wonderful views to nature, horses, sheep, dogs and cats in the surroundings. Stable Café is on sight with light food, cakes and coffee and you could get to know the Icelandic horse by doing a riding lessons or a stable visit.

Perfect as either the starting point for an exploration of southern Iceland or as a base since it is close to the Golden Circle and a few hours drive to the glaciers and black sands of the south. Kirkjuferjuhjaleiga is a horse farm, on the banks of the salmon-rich Ölfusá river surrounded by beautiful landscape.
