The terrace faces south and in calm nice weather it is great to have a nice evening with barbeque grill or lying in the hot tub watching the stars or at winter time watching the amazing northern lights. Spacious (89 m2) apartment located inside a horse stable of 36 horses. There is a lot of horses on the property, Hólaborg is a breeding farm. We have our own lake at the property, we really recommend you to take a walk down there to observe the horses and the unique bird life. The farm is located 73 km from Reykjavík, our location is perfect for exploring the south of Iceland and the Golden Circle as well as spotting the northern lights. The beautiful light house &the beach is only 1 km away.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place while only 20 min walk from city centre and less than 10 min walk to a supermarket. Perfect location in Southern Iceland right on the Golden Circle. Centered between many of Iceland´s greatest nature pearls such as Gullfoss, Geysir, Þingvellir, Jökulsárlón and many more. Many natural and historical museums in the vicinity. After a great day sight seeing it is perfect to wind down with a TV in all bedrooms and enjoy a relaxing evening.

Sólvangur is a horse-breeding farm in the South Coast of Iceland. You will have wonderful views to nature, horses, sheep, dogs and cats in the surroundings. Stable Café is on sight with light food, cakes and coffee and you could get to know the Icelandic horse by doing a riding lessons or a stable visit.
