The Skewbald

The skewbald is set on an elevated site on farmland belonging to a private equestrian Property. Our vintage horse lorry has been converted into a cosy luxurious and peaceful space. It enjoys views of rural Fermanagh farmland and Cuilagh mountain. As it is on a private equestrian property it leads to the option of renting a stable and bringing your equine friend to enjoy Fermanagh on Horseback. It is a short distance from many tourist attractions, stairway to heaven, Marble Arch and others.

Tommy’s Orchard Cottage is set in the heart of the Fermanagh Lakelands on the periphery of a UNESCO global geopark. It provides a tranquil rural retreat near Ireland’s only island town of Enniskillen. Delightful, listed, 250 year old thatch cottage named after the famous explorer Eduardo-Alfred Martel is famous for charting Marble Arch cave system. Local Folklore claims that Martel resided within this beautiful cottage in 1895 during his Caving adventures. Suitable for walkers, climbers & fishermen. The cottage is heated by oil and lovely range cooker. With an electric fire in the lounge. Please be aware that the cottage does not have WiFi or terrestrial tv, but has a tv and dvds.

Kitty’s Cottage, Ballinamore, Co.Leitrim

Kitty’s Cottage is located in the heart of Ballinamore town. What was once an old railway cottage has been lovingly restored into a modern and comfortable space to relax and unwind with family or friends. Plenty of dining places and pubs to choose from in and around the town. You can go hill walking on the beautiful Sliabh an Iarainn mountain close by. Try Western style riding in the Equestrian Centre, Drumcoura City, go fishing, play golf in the local golf course.

Peacock House

The Peacock House is located within the Lismore Demesne. It was once the dairy and workers cottage. From the 1980s onwards it was used to house peacocks, giving the cottage its name. After being left dormant for 80 years it was lovingly restored three years ago. These days it is a bright and cozy cottage offering tranquil views of mature trees and park land. There is private access to forest walks along the Doney Stream just outside the doorstep.
