The Old Dairy, cottage on Highland Farm

As the name suggests this cottage was previously used as dairy on the family farm in years gone by. The house was built in the 1850's, the first house on the farm as it is now. The cottage was also known as Grieves House and was home to the Manager of Dalmore Distillery years and years ago. We live on a family farm and there is always somebody nearby for assistance during your stay. Dalmore Farm is in a quiet location on the edge of Alness, a busy town which in 2018 won the title of Best High Street in Scotland. Set on the shore of the Cromarty Firth, this makes an ideal base for exploring Easter Ross and the Northern Highlands. Alness town centre is approx 10 - 15 walk Morrisons and Lidl are approx 5 minute walk

Welcome to Fettes Farmhouse, a peaceful Highland retreat on the beautiful Black Isle. Just 10 minutes from Inverness and Beauly and 5 mins from the NC500, the farmhouse is an ideal base for exploring the Highlands while enjoying the quiet of the countryside. Perfect for two families or groups of up to 10 guests, with estate walks and frequent wildlife sightings, including red squirrels, osprey, roe deer and pine martens. Swordale Stays, Highland cottage

Swordale is a small, quiet hamlet two miles up the hill from Evanton village. The house is actually part of a converted farm steading consisting of ten cottages, all made of natural stone. Ours is the only one fortunate enough to have a vaulted ceiling and Juliet balcony on the first floor, where the lounge is situated. It has recently been completely, beautifully and thoughtfully renovated. We look forward to welcoming you, and hope you will enjoy your stay here in the Highlands of Scotland.

Set within our lovely garden and surrounded by woodland just 200m off the back road - gives guests and children the safety and freedom to roam from the front door. Located just 15 minutes from Inverness airport.

The Lodge, Nutwood House

The Lodge is the west wing of Nutwood House, a unique property, once the Factor’s House and part of the Earl of Cromartie estate. Situated in a beautiful, peaceful location on the edge of the Victorian Spa village of Strathpeffer, all amenities within 5 minutes walk. Magnificent views across the Peffery Valley. Private garden and many activities to enjoy, forest walks, mountain biking,fishing etc. Nearby places include the renown Rogie Falls.Great location and base to explore the Highlands.

Highland River Cottage with Hot Tub

A cute and cosy modernised cottage with hot tub surrounded by fields and with a beautiful river at the bottom of the garden. The house is well situated and has a spacious patio and lawn, enclosed garden with access to walks up the river and other beautiful local areas. A good base to strike out for West Coast and Highlands. We recently added a twin room in addition to our double en-suite and king bedrooms. The wilderness of the highlands and yet only minutes from the amenities of a major town and nearby transport hubs. It is also a great starting point for the North 500.

Welcome to our newly renovated 2-bedroom lodge (sleeps 4) with sweeping views over the Cromarty Firth and up to the iconic Fyrish Monument. Ideally located at the start of the North Coast 500 (NC500), just 23 miles north of Inverness, and a short distance between Evanton and Alness, it’s the perfect base for exploring the Scottish highlands Located between the Inverness- Wick railway line and the B817 (the old A9), it’s perfect for walking, canoeing, and fishing, or just relaxing.

Culnaskeath Farmhouse Cottage

Culnaskeath Farmhouse Cottage is an extension built in 1993, and blends in with the original house (1860). It's a cozy cottage with a wood-burning stove, two double bedrooms, a kitchen and a bathroom. The upstairs landing has a desk and single bed. The house has views over to the Black Isle, the Cromarty Firth and across to the Cairngorm mountains in the south. Behind our house are six miles of forest tracks. From these, you can see Ben Wyvis in the west.

The Coach House at Manse House

Make some memories at this unique and friendly place. Originally the Coach House of the 18th century listed Manse House, the property was sympathetically converted in 2004. The property lies in the gardens of the Manse in central Tain. It has great access to the main visitor attractions of the Eastern Highlands and makes a great place to relax or to use as a comfortable spot from which to explore the Highlands. Pets are welcome.
