Koutu Cove: Luxe 1 Bedroom Pod

Relax, pull up a beanbag, and soak in the stunning views with your glass of wine overlooking Hokianga Harbour and its world famous giant sand dunes, or unwind in the hot tub as the sun sets and stars emerge overhead. This modern, fully equipped pod is perfect for a couples' escape. Opononi/Omapere: 7mins Rawene: 20mins Tāne Mahuta: 30mins Kerikeri/Bay of Islands Airport: 1hr 2x guests max. Adults only. Fully self contained 2 bdrm cottage on a lifestyle farm. (Tariff is for 2 people). We have a small herd of cattle, including 3 Scottish Highlands. The bulk of the land is in native bush, with bush walks. 1 km from the Pou Herenga Tai cycle way, & about 30 mins drive from both Kaikohe & Kerikeri. With a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower, dining room/lounge - it is comfortable, warm and homely. Limited Wifi and Freeview TV available. BBQ only available over summer (Nov-March).

The Top House, so named because of its location, with 270 degree views, has unrivalled privacy, and it's own helipad. This recently renovated 3 bedroom house is located on 330 acres of private farmland. The house has been finished to a high standard, with excellent amenities, including hot tub with amazing views, outdoor dining and lounge spaces on 360 degree decks, WiFi, two TVs, heaps of parking, modern kitchen and luxury bathrooms, and comfortable stylish furniture throughout.

Cabin 2, Wairere Heights

We introduce a new addition to our Airbnb portfolio: a cabin with a shared toilet/ shower facility. Specious deck, spa and a BBQ area can help you to enjoy nice meals, relaxing time and a stunning panorama of the Far North Mountain ranges. (Please note BBQ, spa, toilet/shower is a shared facility between guests who stay at the cabins). Cabin can accomodate up to 4 guests including children. Treehouse in the Forest Canopy | Reclaimed Kauri

Like a magic carpet ride in the canopy of the forest. A 120 year old Kauri villa was about to be torn down. We rescued the French doors, sarking, weatherboards, windows, flooring and shower fittings, then used them to build Wild Forest Treehouse. A space nestled into the forest slope, so that with all sets of French doors open, you're not looking down at the canopy. You're living inside it. Everything has had a life before this place. You can feel it.

Old Fell Boat Shed

Located in the heart of Kohukohu village across the road from beautiful Hokianga Harbour, the historic Old Fell Boat Shed provides accommodation for up to six guests. It's the ideal timeout spot to write, paint, kayak (two on-site), fish or just relax. Cafe's, art gallery, pub and general store are a level two-minute walk. One big bedroom and two fold-out couches in the large lounge. Private courtyard and BBQ. Pet friendly and free on-street parking.

Rustic Bush Retreat

Tranquil and private, a beautiful Macrocapa post and beam house overlooking the gorgeous Kerikeri Inlet. A haven for relaxation surrounded by native birds, including kiwis, tuis, fantails and wood pigeons, all living on the property. Enjoy a wine on the veranda and watch the boats go by or take a swim at Opito bay- just 5 minutes away. Plenty of room to park the boat plus two launching ramps, a ski lane and some of the best fishing NZ has to offer!

The Cowshed Cottage

A peaceful rural rustic space to retreat and relax yet minutes from town amenities and the main Northland route. Nestled in the grounds of a 9 acre property half-way along a country cul-de-sac and taking up two thirds of a converted mid-century milking shed building the Cottage is cosy, comfy and self-contained, characterised by quirky charm and surrounded by gardens and birdsong. Easy access, no check-in required.

This gorgeous house is built right in the boughs of the trees reconnecting you with tales like the Lord of the Rings and the Magic Faraway Tree. Take an adventure into this dreamy dwelling that's nestled in its own private stand of native trees. This quiet getaway is not far from the city, and based on our secluded 28 acre property. Breakfast items are also provided for you to prepare at your leisure.

Kanuka Loft - Come and relax

This is the perfect private holiday retreat. Set amongst the bush clad slopes of the Te Wahapu Peninsula, with no close neighbors, adjacent to an expansive bush reserve with abundant bird life and only 7 km from the historic Russell Township. Kanuka Loft is a very quiet, peaceful space. A great place to come and do nothing, yet with all the Bay of Islands has to offer at hand.
