A Simpler Place in Time

Restored 90 year old farm building separate from house overlooking the McPherson Ranges and Mount Barney on a 17 acre farm block with animals. Great place to stay if you are walking Mt Barney, Mt May or Mt Maroon - 40 mins drive north. The cottage can accommodate 3 people using a queen bed and a trundle bed (extra $15/night). The cottage runs on solar power (off the grid); gas cooktop; gas hot water; septic toilet; tank water and wood heater. Dean's shed is overflowing with stories and harness.

We are 10 mins away from quality wineries in Ballandean

Casita Blanca Cottage

A peaceful , romantic and stylish cottage with a great view of the valley . Our third cottage " Casita Blanca " Spanish for little white house, built in 2019 but it has the timeless charm of french antiques and quality furnishings. It's character and location makes the perfect getaway for a couple who appreciate some luxury touches like authentic french antiques and crystal chandeliers. We do have other two properties under the listings "Casita de Campo" and "Casita de Bosque" to choose from.

Kristy's Cabin - at Speakeasy Vineyard

Your own private retreat in the middle of Queensland's Granite Belt. Situated on a working vineyard, Kristy's cabin is a modular building that has been converted for guest accommodation. Recently renovated, the space is clean and fresh, with beautifully appointed interiors. Located behind the main house, you will have privacy but be able to access the outdoor spaces and take in the breathtaking views. Kristy's is the perfect base for busy outdoor hikers or those wanting a relaxing weekend away.

Warranfels Homestead

Warranfels Homestead is far enough out of Tenterfield to be peaceful and quiet, but is a convenient 10 minute drive away, with amazing views of the surrounding countryside. The house was built in 1910 and has been lovingly restored to it’s former glory. It is a grand house with country charm and plenty of room for the whole family. It is situated on 10 acres in the centre of an operating farm. There is 1km of dirt road after you turn off the main road. A 4wd is recommended in wet weather.

Mill Cottage

Old world charm meets boho chic in this renovated charming 2 bedroom cottage. The property offers an English style garden diagonally overlooking Jubilee Park. Set amongst the cafe and wine bar life of this historical Federation town. Two open fires and an outdoor hot shower and bath tub set the scene for a romantic get away whilst the large fenced yard and Park side location make this the perfect choice for families with pets. Davadi Cottage

Davadi Cottage is our dream country escape, we have lovingly restored this old Queenslander into the home that is today brimming with character but with modern conveniences the perfect blend for a charming weekend. Three queen size bedrooms comfortably fits six people, perfect place to spend time with friends and family. The location is just 5 mins walk to the main street which is great for going out at night, no need to take the car!, but only a short drive to all the wineries .

Lane’s End Cottage - cosy farm stay

Drive to the end of the lane, wend your way down the poplar lined driveway and find yourself at Lane’s End Cottage, your home away from home in Broadwater, less than ten minutes from the town of Stanthorpe. The cottage is situated on a 42 acre farm, close enough to town that you can pop in easily to enjoy cafes, festivals and a bit of shopping - but far enough away that you will feel you really have escaped to the country.

Your perfect weekend getaway ! What to expect? The cabin is a small space designed to be cosy but has everything you need for a weekend away. Bald Rock Station is approximately 10 minutes drive from the historic town of Tenterfield. We are nestled nearby Boonoo Boonoo & Bald Rock national parks & a short drive to Giraween. There are a plethora of bushwalks & waterfalls to discover or just sit back & be entertained by the wildlife on our property.
