This uniquely built barn situated in the Gold Coast hinterland is within walking distance to national parks. Made from recycled wharf timber, the barn is set on an 18 acre farm beset by green lawns. A king bed with ensuite, separate shower & bath make up the loft bedroom. Downstairs features a second bathroom / laundry, fire place, lounge, study & self inflating bed (inflatable bed linen not included), dining & fully equipped kitchen before walking onto a large deck overlooking the rainforest.

We are so fortunate to live in a part of the world that boasts many treasures - beaches, rainforest, shopping and culture are all just a short drive away. And the climate! We love meeting people of diverse backgrounds and love to hear your stories if you like to share them! We also respect your privacy if that's what you prefer.

The Coffee Roasting Shed in stunning Carool

Guests are welcome to explore our property-as long as you take a carrot or two to share with Bentley, our resident horse. Our home is close to Mt Warning, only 3km from Husk Distillery and Tumbulgum, 15 min from the Gold Coast airport, 30 min to Byron Bay, 10 min from Snapper Rocks famous surf beach and the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, 25 min from Surfers Paradise, Sea World, Dreamword and Movie World. Coffee shop and pub only 5 min drive. We are in the country side over looking Mt Warning. You will enjoy the sounds of the birds and a see a few wallibies if you like to be up early.
