If you like apple-picking and apple products, I suggest a trip to Wallingford's. The drive there is beautiful and this is a great way to get fresh apples, pumpkins, and homemade treats in the fall.

Seasonal. Orchard where you can. pick-your-own apples. The Bakery serves donuts (including their famous apple cider donuts), pies, apple dumplings, and more. They also have farm animals for petting and a corn maze. Open June 1st to Dec 31st (~7 mi away). 1240 Perkins Rd, Auburn

Charming farm that has summer produce, cider donuts, local cheeses, ice cream - and apple picking in the fall. Must visit. The surrounding area is beautiful.
