Craft Renaissance is run by husband and wife team John Bruce and Helen Mitchell, who live and work onsite. Craft Renaissance was John's vision, he developed the site and facilities from existing stone farm buildings. Visitors to the gallery and shop are greeted by gallery manager Helen, textile artist Cayt Giles and glass designer maker Gill Rogers. Craft Renaissance has always been a community of makers changing character over the years as buildings were renovated, workshops developed and new facilities created.
