Bornholm is home to arguably two of the most directional multi-brand emporia in Denmark, owned by Flemming Holmgaard and managed with fellow fashion savant Jasper Hansen. Gutemensch in Rønne is the more approachable of the two, offering a concise edit of sought-after Scandi brands such as Ganni, Acne Studios and athleisure go-to 7Days Active. True to the team’s boundary-pushing ambitions, there are also niche names including German label Anntian, famous for its hand-printed dresses, and limited-edition shirts illustrated by local artists. Sibling boutique Achtung, distinguished by its neon-green exterior, carries off-beat garb from Viktor & Rolf and Danish Recycle Dead Stock, which uses leftover fabrics for its sustainable creations.
