Parks & Nature

Located in the Washington Park/Woodlawn neighborhood, Washington Park totals 366.84 acres and features two gymnasiums, a photography lab, dance studio, racquetball court, fitness center,game room, and multi-purpose rooms. Green features of the park include a nature area, a Harvest Garden and an arboretum. Outside, the park offers a lagoon, aquatic center, three playgrounds, basketball/ tennis courts, baseball, football, soccer, cricket, and softball fields. Many of these spaces are available for rental including our gymnasiums, fields, and multi-purpose rooms. Additionally, Washington Park features the renowed Fountain of Time sculpture by Lorado Taft.

63rd Street Beach is located at 6300 S. Lake Shore Drive. (E. Hayes Drive @ Lake Michigan) in Jackson Park. Beach goers can enjoy a wide array of amenities at this beach. The historic beach house also offers beach goers amenities that include restrooms, interactive water fountains, showers, and meeting rooms. The beach house is available to rent.

One of the best Saturday and Sunday brunch situations in town. Make reservations. Usually not a big deal to make them last minute. It's around $35-$40 pp AND SO WORTH IT! It's a Chicago secret

Great view. Be sure to go to the lounge on the 96th floor. It's free and boasts great views and they have EXCELLENT views. The Signature Room on the 95th floor is a restaurant. Have a Sidecar at the lounge. My friends and I think it's one of the best in town! It's budget friendly because you can go and have a soda and just take in the views.
