The cottage is a bright, spacious, stone faced building. It has an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped with all the essentials you will need inc. washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave etc. The bathroom is spacious with an electric shower. The living area includes a TV and DVD player. There are 2 bedrooms one consisting of a double bed the other has 3 single beds. The property has ample parking. The cottage is not wheelchair accessible

Tastefully decorated, the cottage boasts a number of amenities that seamlessly blend with its traditional feel, along with beautiful woodland walks/fishing spots on site. On the outskirts of Nenagh town it provides a gateway to multiple historic/cultural attractions in addition to it's close proximity to Lough Derg.

This home is a good base for exploring (2 hours to most other tourist spots Dublin, Galway etc) and is on the doorstep of Lough Derg, an unspoilt epicentre for sailing, boating, fishing and other water sports. It is 1.5km away from the local swimming area/beach of Castlelough. Five minutes away is Garrykennedy village, a renowned holiday, sailing and recreational destination on Lough Derg, home to the famous Larkin’s bar. Ballina/Killaloe are just a 15 minute drive from the cottage.

Charming 15th Century Castle

Built in the late 1400s, Grantstown Castle has been lovingly restored and mixes medieval architecture with modern comforts. The Castle Is Rented In Its Entirety and caters for up to Seven Guests. The castle is comprised of six floors, connected via a stone and oak spiral staircase. There are three double bedrooms and one single. The castle has great battlements which are accessible at the top of the staircase and host amazing views of the surrounding countryside.

Nestled in the beautiful rolling hills of East Clare, retreat from the busyness of life to a unique experience in nature. It’s a really beautiful and comfortable space with trees and a small forest. This semi off grid yurt is designed to provide you with comfort. The yurt is attached to a private kitchenette and a small bathroom with hot shower and a toilet. Inside the yurt, you will sleep in a very comfortable double bed with a warm duvet and a cozy stove.
