Dreaming Buffalo is a sunny, art-filled cottage located on 11 supremely peaceful acres just 12 miles from downtown Austin. This sanctuary has all the creature comforts of home, including a full kitchen, walk-in closet, and record player. The backyard features a fire pit and comfortable seating to enjoy the stunning hill country sunsets surrounded by song birds, bunny rabbits, and deer. The area feels much more remote than it is. Peace & quiet in nature is the main draw here at our sanctuary.

Just 20 minutes from Austin, Round Rock and Georgetown, the location is perfect for shopping, music, sports venues, water parks and more, yet guests get the feeling of being in the country with free range chickens, farm fresh eggs, wild birds, three kittens and two livestock guardian dogs, Maggie and Bruce. Enjoy the cooler weather by staying in with a bonfire!

This is the Owners own unit available sometimes when he is traveling. Modern clean style with 2 bedrooms and plenty of privacy. Full kitchen and well appointed bath. Walk over to see the chickens and Emu. The goats normally free range and may be at the back door for treats. Trails lead out the back and up the hill for perfect sunsets. You can also wander to the rest of the property to see Highland cows and even Alpaca! 2 Bedrooms and a large bath including laundry and full kitchen.

We have goats, chickens, horse, and a few cows. While we keep the critters separate from the cabin they may come and visit the fence line. Feel free to give them an ear scratch! (but please do not open the gate) - NO PETS please, including emotional support animals.
