Authentic and romantic lodge originally built of timber and used for the first time back in 1850 as housing for as many as 10 persons. Situated between the sea and the forest and with the northern light as only light in the dark season this might be the perfect place to enjoy North of Norway. The perfect match for a couple, but will also function very well for up to four persons. It is renovated to a modern standard in 2018, with focus on maintaining the heart and soul of the old building.

You can watch the beautiful northern light / aurora borealis from the huge window (10 sqm), sitting in the living room with a cup of tea or coffee in your hand:-) This is a perfect place for tourists who wants to see the northern light, whales in the fjord at winter, hiking/ skiing in the mountains or everything else you want in this lovely city.

House location is next to main road E8, easy to travel to another city, easy access and a bus stop also right in front here. 😊

Amazing cabin 25 minutes from Tromsø Airport

The cabin is situated on the roof of the tunnel to Malangen and just by the seaside. The living room has great windows that give you a feeling of being outside when are sitting warm and comfortably inside. Perfect for spotting for the northern lights. The cabin has three large bedrooms, a nice bathroom, and a well equipped kitchen. Everything is ready for you to have a great stay just outside amazing Tromsø. The cabin is completely renovated (2022). Welcome!

Unique and cosy fisherman cabin

Velkommen til vår koselige hytte! Denne tradisjonelle hytten ble opprinnelig brukt som egne-bu for fiske og fangst i gamle dager. Hytten har toalett i egen bygning som på 1950 tallet. Deres private bad og vaskemaskin er i verts bolig. Hytten ligger for seg selv i havgapet med fantastisk utsikt over hav, fjell og fjord. Det er et rikt dyreliv her og stranden er rett utenfor. Kanskje får dere øye på dyr som elg, oter, hval, røyskatt eller ørn :)

Cathedral Lodge

This house looks like a little cathedral, and lies only a five minutes walk from the centre of Tromsø. Large windows in the front gives a magnificent view of the city, the sea and the Mountains. The house was finished in 2019. We have choosen exclusive materials and design furniture. You’ll see that it’s made by heart. Helga, the host, lives in the house next door, and is readily available. Ett soverom med dobbeltseng, samt sovesofa i stue med plass til to. Sameiet har en felles takterrasse med spisebord og stoler som kan benyttes sommerstid.
