Waratah is nestled in a wilderness-rich pocket of Tasmania's North West and is the perfect base from which to explore the Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park and the ancient Tarkine wilderness.

This unique place has a style all of its own. Nestled into the hill on the highest part of our farm sits our newly built 1 bedroom cottage. The space has a fully equiped kitchen, washer dryer combo, internet, smart tv and heating and cooling. Whilst it is only 1 bedroom with a queen bed the sofa does pull out into a bed should you require an additional guest or travelling with a friend. We have tried to make the most of the space to make it comfortable & relaxing.

A private cottage with abundant grounds and resident wildlife this is Tarkinegrove . Bird enthusiasts, photographers and artists will love Tarkinegrove. See the Platypus at dusk during season. Dozens of birds, Spotted Tail Quoll, Pademelons, & Eastern Barred Bandicoot do visit, again depending on the depending on the season.
