The Hut at Turkey Beach is the perfect escape for fishing, crabbing and relaxing. Huddo's Place is your ideal holiday or work stay home away from home. Located in the heart of Tannum Sands, a short 100m stroll will take you to the Beach, Surf club, Coffee shops, Restaurant and the local fish and chip shop. A relaxing 250m walk in the opposite direction will take you to the local Tavern, Coles, KFC, and many more specialty shops. Our Queenslander split level house is situated in the heart of Gladstone, backs onto bushland & less than 5 minutes from shops. We live upstairs, the lower half is your self-contained unit - kitchen/lounge, master bedroom, ensuite and 'Beach Room' (2nd bedroom). Please note, all 4 rooms are adjoining and there is no internal walkway around the ensuite when in use, other than from outside. The Beach Room boasts the bushland view.

The Crab Shack

The Crab Shack is a peaceful place to stay where you can relax and enjoy the surrounds, fishing and crabbing. Walk to the beach through the bush track and a short drive to the boat ramp. The town has a park for the kids and a dedicated swimming enclosure. If you are a keen fisher person you can enjoy crabbing, estuary fishing or venture to the great barrier reef. It is also a beautiful place to just sit relax and read a book.

‘Captain’s Cabin’ – Off the Grid

This is your complete reset. A rustic A-frame tucked into the Queensland countryside — grasslands, gum trees, big skies — far enough from everything to feel genuinely away, close enough to Agnes Water and the southern Great Barrier Reef if you want a reason to leave (you probably won't). We offer a unique accommodation experience by inviting you to stay on a comfortable sailing boat, overlooking our beautiful pristine billabong on our 40 acre property. You'll have exclusive command of the ship as well as your own private dining, bathroom and entertaining areas. The billabong is close by too should you wish for a cooling dip.
