Marjory’s Cottage-Charming Historic Home-Wabash IN

Established in January 2025, Marjory’s Cottage House honors the rich heritage and enduring spirit of the home originally built in 1951 by Floyd L. Erdahl. Located on Vernon Street, the house was constructed from a Gamble Store Home Construction Kit at a cost of just $5,000—a testament to postwar ingenuity and craftsmanship. Today, Marjory’s Cottage House stands not only as a place of warmth and memory but also as a tribute to the legacy of a family deeply rooted in the fabric of its community.

My home is located in a lovely, peaceful neighborhood on the northeast side of town close to parks, trails, the Eel River and the 4-H fairgrounds which is just around the corner. VIBRANT EVENT CENTER 1.9 miles away. It takes only a few minutes to get anywhere you want to go in Logansport from this location. If clean, quiet, comfortable and relaxing quarters is what you desire during your stay with easy access to anywhere in Logansport, than this is it.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. The couch in the living room is a sofa bed that can be used for extra guests, especially children. A variety of parks and walking trails are also nearby. If you have kids, you may enjoy visiting the Dentzel Carousel in downtown Logansport. This is a no pet, no smoking Airbnb. The backyard has access directly to the river, where you can sit around the firepit and watch the water go by as you relax with your family and friends.
