Our cottage on the edge of the world was built by hand with regional materials. In a village near the town of Fort Portal (30 min), you will find peace, hospitality and a sense of community. A perfect space for volunteers and vacationers who want to support a grassroots organization (even for a longer period of time). The cottage is part of the community organization Kuza Omuto and a local school. So you will experience the real village life of West Uganda .

About 25 min from Jinja, Harry’s Retreat is rural, off-grid home best suited for guests seeking calm and nature - not nightlife or late nights in town. The final 2 km are on a rocky dirt track, so please plan to arrive before dark.
