Escape the city life for a weekend getaway. Springvale Farm offers endless opportunities to relax and explore the KZN Midlands. We like to think we have the best of both worlds - the benefits of farm life, yet with all the modern comforts and easy access to cafes, trails, walks, schools, markets and golf courses. Wilde Als is a beautiful spacious 2 bedroom cottage with an open plan living area and an indoor fireplace. It is set slightly away from the other cottages providing unrivalled privacy.

Mooifontein Farm Cottage

Our Cottage is a beautiful rustic cottage on the very popular Midlands Meander Route. It is on a farm with lots of lovely open spaces and beautiful surrounding views. The cottage has a lovely warm outside shower and also a panoramic view . It is very comfortable and perfect for children and also is pet friendly for those who don't like to leave there pets at home. Our Cottage has a 1 km dirt road off the main R103,at times it can be quiet tough with a small car. Please check if you are worried

Beautiful Breeze Cottage sits among the stunning hills of the Dargle Valley. It overlooks 3 tranquil dams, rolling pastures and an indigenous forest. There are cattle and horses in the fields, abundant bird life to enjoy and peacefulness to breath in. It's the perfect place to recharge while escaping the pressures of city life and with the Midlands Meander on our doorstep you can be as busy or as quiet as you choose. The farm is now fully off Eskom power so load shedding is a distant memory.

Large Farmhouse (Bridford), Balgowan, KZN Midlands

Large family or group stays. Bridford Farm is a wonderful family home set in the Kwazulu-Natal Midlands just over the hill from Michaelhouse school. There are loads of rooms, lovely wintery fires and gorgeous gardens with spectacular views of the Balgowan valley. The dam is home to grass carp for catch and release, and the forest walking trail is suitable for the whole family. There is also a tennis court. Paddocks Cottage on Newstead Farm nestles in the rolling hills near Nottingham Road. Here you can find dams for boating and bass fishing, a tennis court and 25ha of indigenous forest! This rural smallholding farm with Nguni Cows and retired horses has a significant history from the 1840's and gives you the chance to experience the true peace and tranquillity of the countryside, but yet is very central to top restaurants, golf courses, wedding venues and schools. Bourne View

A charming , spacious, house in the secure Gowrie Village in Nottingham Rd. Cosy in winter with a wood burner in the lounge and another in the kitchen. It overlooks a field, is peaceful and quiet and yet close to the coffee shops and eating places. A home away from home we offer comfort. (It is not a modern build, as it is one of the first houses built in Gowrie Village) Kindly note, there are 2 outdoor cats on the property that are only around for food. They won't bother guests Enjoy!

Only 2kms off the N3, we are easily accessible and very easy to find. We are a working farm, so there will be ‘farm noise’ about and general day-to-day goings on!
