The yurt has 1 queen canopy bed, a cot under the bed for addn sleeping, cable tv, small refrigerator, microwave, keurig coffee maker, small charcoal grill, bonfire pit and chairs! The 1/2 bathroom is located just a short walk away in the laundry room for the resort as well as an outdoor shower. Also shared beach,dock, boat,canoe,kayak rental for use!

The custom constructed yurt is hidden away in the back field of a working farm, with a beautiful backdrop of the famed Horton Creek countryside. This unique structure is equipped with only the essentials so you can escape the "real world" for a while. Relax in a hammock under the shade of the Red Pines. Enjoy the solitude by your scenic private fire pit while you watch the Northern Michigan sunset. Sleep in a queen size bed constructed from reclaimed lumber or use additional space for camping.

A small park with huge hearts, we have friendly staff, views of beautiful Lake Michigan with lake access, and a quiet atmosphere after hours.

A winding two-track through the woods delivers you to our cozy 200sq ft yurt located on 10 acres outside of quaint Alden, MI. 5 minute drive to Torch. 15 min. to Bellaire/Short’s! Turn on your favorite camp tunes, unplug, read, make art with the yurt art supplies, do a puzzle, bask on the porch, lounge in the hammocks,cook dinner over the fire, head to Alden for breakfast at the Muffin Tin, take a dip in Torch…we’ll tell you a great spot to jump in! Bunk bed is full size lower, twin upper.

Located 25 minutes north of Marquette, our yurt is simple and rustic without electricity and a woodstove is the only heat source. We provide bedding, water in buckets, a simple kitchen, a battery pack for string lights, and a sauna for warming the bones. We encourage and cater to silent-sport type of guests as we have kind and close neighbors on all sides. This yurt is nestled in the woods on our 10 acre hobby farm. It's a cozy space perfect for two. Make sure to spend some time around the outdoor firepit, curl up with a book on the couch in front of the wood-pellet stove, and peek out one of the many windows as often as possible - we've spotted deer, fox, coyote, wolves, bear, turkeys, and more! You will also have the opportunity to interact with our dairy goats and chickens, if interested. No pets, please.
