This pleasantly equipped holiday bungalow is situated in Maarn on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug National Park. The house is situated in a quiet location and has a terrace and a large woodland garden. This pretty natural environment offers several possibilities such as uwalks, bike rides and visits to various cities and villages, castles, gardens and museums. Near to the apartment is the Henschotermeer, a natural pond in the middle of hills surrounded by white sandy beaches and green sunbathing area.

De 27-holes golfbaan De Batouwe bevindt zich midden in de Betuwe op 8 minuten rijden. Toer lekker over de dijk genietend van de prachtige vergezichten over de Lek (middels fiets, motor of auto). Hier kun je genieten van de bosrijke omgeving en de idyllische, rustige sfeer op het Landgoed. De aanwezigheid van de paarden op het terrein draagt bij aan de landelijke sfeer. This modern guesthouse is located 20 minutes by bike from Utrecht (or 7 minutes by train to Utrecht or 25min to Amsterdam), 500m from Terwijde train station and 200m from the Maxima Park. The accommodation is adjacent to our house and has its own entrance, a cozy terrace at the back and a free parking space in front of the door. Bicycles are available on request for exploring the city and the park. A third person is possible upon request by using the sofa bed in the living room.

Our beautiful windmill was built on the remains of a medieval castle in 1873. In 2006 the mill was fully renovated. You will have a comfortable stay in the mill which is surrounded by a beautiful garden. Maurik is a charming village, very centrally located between larger cities like Utrecht, Den Bosch, Arnhem and Nijmegen. The area is very suitable for cycling, hiking and swimming.
