This Country home is located 8km from the town of Kirkjubæjarklaustur. The house is at a perfect spot in southern Iceland where you can drive to the main attractions in the area such as Fjaðrárgljúfur, Vatnajökull, Diamond beach, and more. In Kirkjubæjarklaustur are common necessities such as groceries, restaurants, a swimming pool, and more. This home is a good fit for a family or a group of 6-7 travelers. It is located on a large land where guests are free to roam around and explore.

At the heart of Vatnajökull National Park, and only a short drive from the world famous Glacier lagoon,Jökulsárlón (28km) is Neðribær apartment. Neðribær is in a 2 apartment house with private entrance. Many activities in the area such as snowmobiling, glacier jeeps and glacier walk adventure on Europe´s largest glacier, kayaking, puffins tours, boat tours, ice cave tours (winter) and horseback riding. Enjoy the views of Vatnajökull Glacier in your own private cabin. This is a fully licensed family run accommodation. The cabins have sleeps for up to 4 guests as well as a kitchenette and a private bathroom. Every cabin has free wi-fi. Guests can bring their own food and cook simple meals or visit restaurants in the vicinity. Nearby, you will find beautiful hiking trails and various activities, including glacier hiking, snowmobile or jeep tours and boat tours on glacier lagoons.

Sænautasel gives you a opportunity to experience living as people did in the olden days in Iceland. You should therefore be aware that there is no electricity. Everybody is sleeping in “Baðstofan”, which the space over the kitchen is called in Icelandic. Breakfast and/or Dinner is available for extra charge. You need to book this in advance at least 2 days prior. If you decide to book 2 nights you should be aware that Sænautasel functions as a guided museum from 12-17 PM.

If you are lucky you might even see the Nothern Lights in the sky on a cold winter night.

My beloved tiny Home

My beloved tiny home is a modern and cosy studio space. It has floor heating, Philips Smart TV and a kitchen. The kitchen has a JURA coffee machine, a refrigerator, full size stove and a dishwasher. The studio is 33m2 and has one bedroom with one double bed (160cm) and one single bed (90cm). The space is 33m2 & has a private: entrance, kitchen bathroom and living room.

Snæbýli Cottage 3

A warm and brand new house that is located between Vik and Kirkjubæjarklaustur. The cottage is by the farm Snæbýli 1 which is the last farm before heading on the mountain road (F210). It is 45m2 in size and is divided into two bedrooms, bathroom and then an open space where you have a fully equipped kitchen and living room with big windows and breathtaking view

Small Cozy Cabin just 5km from Kirkjubæjarklaustur town. Nearly in the middle between Vik (Reynisfjara) and Jokulsarlon (Glacier lagoon) The cabin is in a unique landscape called Pseudo Craters. "Landbrotshólar". It is a unique volcanic landform. Remote yet close to small town of Kirkjubæjarklaustur.

Húsin er staðsett um 3km frá Höfn, útsýni til fjalla og jökla. Tilvalin gisting fyrir fjölskyldur eða þá sem eru að ferðast saman. Húsin rúma fjóra fullorðna. Eitt barn yngra en 12 ára dvelur án greiðslu þegar notuð eru rúm sem eru til staðar. Frítt wifi er á staðnum.
