Cottage has 1 bedroom, queen bed, separate bathroom, walk in wardrobe, kitchen/dining/lounge area, private deck overlooking farmland. Daily bathroom cleaning/towel service provided, we respect that some guests may want total privacy and may prefer not to have this service.

Inside our spacious newly renovated Black Cottage, you have a small full kitchen with farmhouse sink, large fridge/freezer, gas cooktop, microwave, air fryer, and Nespresso. In the lounge area there’s a smart screen tv- Netflix . Through the slider barn door to a large bedroom with plush king bed, laden with luxury linen and a walk in wardrobe leaving you ample space,+ comfortable reading chair. Walk though to the walk in tile shower, handbasin and toilet- there is also a Laundry in your room.

Kaimai Views, Matamata

Our small unit provides a welcoming place for travellers to stay. Although small our place is cozy, with a comfortable bed, wifi & Netflix, cooking facilities and utensils, with all the views of the Kaimai that one could want. A peaceful getaway - not completely shunned from society but, just enough to de-stress and relax. Feeling keen enough to brave the night? Lay on the deck and behold the wonders of the sky illuminated by thousands of twinkling stars. We aim to be a home away from home.

HK’s Nest

Centrally located, it’s a 500m walk to the centre of Matamata and all it has to offer. Tom Grant Drive and Centennial Drive nearby park-like walks shared by all. The beds are a queen bed in the bedroom and a double sofa bed in the lounge is available for use as well. Easily accessed via ramp, the space is private and spacious. A simple breakfast of toast, cereal and hot drinks is provided. A separate deck and fenced yard provides for further enjoyment or secure parking for trailers.

Kaimai Range Country Getaway

Kaimai Range Country Getaway provides a beautiful, modern cottage featuring expansive deck views. This is a perfect location to chill and do nothing or discover the endless attractions the Bay of Plenty has to offer. Whether it’s lazy days on the beach or other energetic activities you can do as little or as much as you wish. Honeymooners enjoy a private, idyllic getaway with starry nights in the outdoor baths with a glass of wine (Robes supplied), which can be used all year round.

Falls Cottage Retreat

Sit back and enjoy sensational views of the Wairere Falls from various spots in our farm cottage which is situated in the heart of the Kaimai Ranges. The well renowned Wairere Falls walking track is only 3km from the cottage for those keen to get out and enjoy the beautiful nature walk. Opal Hot Springs is a 5-minute drive and the best way to relax and unwind. Matamata is a 12-minute drive with excellent food options and various tour bus options out to the Hobbiton movie set.

Hillside Cottage

Nestled between grassland and trees, this guest house is the perfect place to soak up New Zealand’s beautiful nature. Relax watching the birds and scenic hills or get hands on with the family pets. You can feed the alpacas or visit the chicken to collect some eggs. There is always a spare paddock for horsey people visiting the area and plenty of room to park a trailer or boat. We are located 10 min away from Hobbiton, Karapiro lake and 15 min from Cambridge town centre.

A Place in the Paddock

This properties entrance is on the Hauraki Cycle Trail, only 2.5 km from town. The cottage is surrounded by farm land. You will have exclusive use of this 3 bedroom country home which easily accommodates 7 people. An 11 minute drive to the sensational Wairere Falls bush walk . 17 minutes to Hobbiton Movie set . Has foam mattresses for groups up to 11 as well as a portacot. Please be aware of electric fences on driveway( but not near house surroundings )

"The Old Church" Boutique Accommodation

Our wonderful home is a converted Catholic Church, built in 1954 which we were lucky enough to buy in 1996. It offers a unique and special stay, full of character with a peaceful atmosphere. A great place to spend time relaxing or exploring the beautiful area we live in. To add to this, Café 77 is situated right across the road in what was once the old derelict Manawaru Dairy Factory. They are open from 8 am to 3 pm daily and we can highly recommend!

Country cabin escape perfect star gazing + biking!

Escape to the country at our self-contained cabin with lovely mountain & country views at the base of the Kaimai Ranges. Close to Wairere Falls (7 min drive), Hobbiton Tour from Matamata (28 min drive) & 3 mins ride to cycle trail! Central to Rotorua, Waitomo, Coromandel Peninsula and Auckland. Rolling Views Vintage Retreat, a rustic old style accommodation, is an 8-minute drive from Hobbiton and Matamata. This relaxing setting has amazing rural views,, sheep, ducks, birds, fish and turtles. A full breakfast with fruit is provided. Have a romantic evening under the stars in an outdoor Spa Pool at extra cost of $10/person for one time use or $15/person for unlimited use.
