Hi! We're Robyn and Chen, a young, newly-wed couple full of life and energy. This listing with a private entrance helps us pay for our first home! Just four quiet blocks to the Washougal River and over 16 miles of gorgeous PNW trails. We both work from home so we have the best fiber internet available. We're pretty quiet except when we are in the attached stained glass studio or laughing together. We welcome everyone, LGBTQ, traveling nurses, or anyone who wants to explore the Portland area.

The Story House

Between the lights of Portland and the slopes of Mt. Hood stands a whimsical woods of giant firs, feathery cedars and old mossy maples. Midst a maze of paths and ferns is a cozy cabin full of delightful art. Browse the uncommon birdhouses and their stories. Just steps outside the French doors is a lighted path to the bathhouse (the only bathroom) with toilet, shower, clawfoot tub and washer/dryer. Walk the paths, soak in the hot tub and end your day in the peace and quiet of a private cabin.

The Pines & Cherries Cabin Retreat in the Gorge

Enjoy quiet personal time or a romantic getaway at this cozy and rustic Columbia River Gorge log cabin, located in the woods just 25 mins from the PDX. Fill your days with hiking, berry picking or fishing. Then curl up by the fire in an intimate setting, listen to the birds from the front porch, or get your best writing done at the vintage desk! Supplies of tea, coffee and chocolate provided. Queen size bedroom loft with a trundle bed downstairs. Amenities include indoor shower and kitchenette.

Stroll downtown Camas and enjoy dining, the iconic Liberty movie theater, outdoor firepits at the local brew pubs and boutique shopping. If nature is what you are needing, explore the miles of hiking and walking trails at Lacamas Lake that start right outside the front door. The summer months offer water activities for kayaks and paddleboards. 12 miles to PDX.

Welcome to our Clackamas Riverfront Guest House—a peaceful riverside retreat blending rustic charm and modern comfort. Relax in your private hot tub and sauna, unwind by the fireplace, and enjoy stunning river views. Fish, kayak, or raft right from the backyard. Bedrooms include white noise machines and earplugs to help with normal traffic during commute hours on our scenic road. Walking down the path from the parking area you will see the confluence of Canyon Creek and the Washougal River and cabin nestled amongst cedar trees where you will be staying. The cabin was originally built in the 1920's as a vacation home for a predominate Portland Judge. A century later and the spirit of this escape is alive and well with a full remodel providing modern amenities in a beautiful and rustic setting.

Enjoy our beautiful cozy cabin that is heated exclusively by a wood stove, on the edge of a magical old growth cedar forest on our 11 acre farm and vineyard. Relax on the deck built into the trees, and sleep peacefully in the loft bed, as you soak in the nature around you. The cute out house is just down the path and the cedar hot tub/ outdoor shower is next to the garden.
