There is a coffee shop with the best cookies, sandwiches and salads just past the library and post office. Enjoy an occasional float plane landing or taking off from your deck. You can see the Wasilla train station across the lake, it will take you to Denali and back. Talkeetna is an hour away and Anchorage is only 45 minutes away.
