The Canal House

Our little getaway sits on a canal that leads into Lake Conroe. The marina at the lake offers jet skis and boats for rent. Our house comes with a canoe and a kayak. It also offers fishing in the canal. Very quiet, serene place with lots of beautiful birds. We particularly like to sit on the back porch and watch the egrets fly by or the ducks swimming in the canal. Perfect place for respite and recharge, or ramp it up and go jet skiing on the lake. Or both! This is a non-smoking home.

Forest Lane Guest Quarters

Quiet country setting only 3 miles from Downtown Huntsville, 4.5 miles from SHSU, 1 mile from Walker County Fair . Home is a perfect place to come relax after a long day at work or a day shopping on the square. We are surrounded by trees and deer love to come visit morning and night. The guest quarters are set up like a hotel with a full size fridge, microwave, and coffee pot. The space has its own entrance and guests have the ability to come and go as needed without disturbing homeowners.

The quaint and charming Sam Houston Cottage provides a front porch view of the historic granite monument sculpted in 1911 by Italian artist Pompeo Coppini to mark the final resting place of Sam Houston. This very special corner house typifies the traditional style and charm of a bygone era yet provides all the modern comforts of home. Located just a short distance from the Huntsville square this prime location makes for easy travel for any occasion that brings you to town.

Relax and recharge on our secluded 20-acre property. Bask in nature with a large deck overlooking the pond/pasture w/hot tub, outdoor shower, Blackstone grill and fire table. Bernhardt Winery is a mile away and Ren Fest is under 10 miles away. Guest can use the pasture/woods with walking trails, wood fire pit and kayak.

The fully equipped kitchen is perfect to fix up your gourmet meals. The Bluebonnet is nestled beside our glistening 1/2 acre pond with ducks, fish and a fountain. A wooded area behind and open fields out front brings a nice breeze across the porch. Makes for a perfect place to enjoy the sunset & stars!
