A modest, over 100 years old stockhouse in a little village in the archipelago of Maxmo in Vöyri. The atmosphere is calm and quiet in the village. The place is 10 km from the local center and 40 km from the city center of Vaasa, the capital of the Pohjanmaa/Österbotten county. The region is about 50:50 bilingual finnish-swedish speaking, but the archipelago is nearly 100 % Swedish speaking. Many people speak both languages. English is a common foreign language. You get by with english very well.

Vanaja cottage, Ascetic Cabin with Beach and Sauna

Ascetic remote old Finnish cottage with own beach and sauna. In midsummer there is also bilberry (nordic blueberry) fields right next to the cottage! At the cottage you can enjoy a romantic holiday in a historic milieu or just go and relax with your friends and take a rowing boat to the lake. The cottage has no electricity or running water, wood heating. You can cook with wood heated stove. Blankets, pillows, and mattresses can be found in the cottage. Please bring your own sheets & towels.

Meillä voi usein ihastella myös pohjoisen taivaan revontulia! Kesällä käytössä on iso terassi, jossa saa nauttia aurinkoisista päivistä! Läheltä n.15 minuutin ajomatkan päästä löytyvät myös Hyyppään vuoren ja Mustavuoren ulkoilualueet sekä Nokkakiven huvipuisto.
